Paper: The Hidden Carbon Risk of Australian Companies
New research released by RepuTex on the indirect emissions risk of S&P ASX 200 companies, reveals that on average, direct emissions account for only 24 percent of a company’s overall carbon emissions risk. Companies that focus solely on direct carbon liabilities, may be overlooking significant indirect costs. These costs, depending on the company and sector, can have a material impact on earnings, margins and credit worthiness.Attachments:
